As a professional solid surface manufacturer, KKR inspects the solid surface with a series of visual inspections to avoid further damage during production.

• 

  During Raw Material Inspection

  The polymethyl methacrylate, also call resin or PMMA, the quality is very important for solid surface products, we test it's viscosity, gelation time, exothermic peak, solid content and the appreance, all the resin appearance we use is colorless transparent, liquid, no impurities.

  We test the aluminum powder materials every time, makesure the appearance is pure white, no impurities. Sifting with 150 mesh and 325 mesh sieves, make sure the aluminum powder is super fine. And the gelation time and water content are up to standard.

  During Solid Surface Manufacturing

  • No cracks, breaks, or white stretch marks
  • No bubbles or blisters
  • Close the color difference
  • Flatness
  • Close precision within +/- 0.003 m
  • Noise control (No more than 5 points for bathtub, 3 points for sink)

  During Surface Grinding

  • Sheet-required dimension/size
  • Required dimension/size of the sheet
  • The number of holes in a specific solid surface product
  • Hole size
  • No seam
  • Flatness
  • Close precision within +/- 0.003 m
  • Noise control (No more than 5 points for bathtub, 3 points for sink)

  During Surface Polishing

  • Required grits of the sheet
  • No cracks, breaks, or getting white stretch marks
  • No trace on the highly polished solid surface products
